For $7.80 got a huge plate of steak enchiladas with authentic Mexican flavors. I asked for extra enchilada sauce because it was so good. The steak meat was actually flavorful like it had been marinated. I recommend you go in so you can get as much pico da gallo and sauce as you want. ( the green sauce was my favorite) Yes it is a little hole in the wall but if you want a good amount of food with great flavor at a good price, I definitely recommend it!

If you've read my reviews previously (and if you haven't, you should... I mean... you know... I'm that good), you know I grew up on Tex-Mex and Mexican food is one of my staples.
This place is basically the same as all of other drive-thru Mexican joints in town. What's really funny is they all have the same pros and cons.
PROS:
- Some of the food is pretty good
- I like their carne asada burritos and breakfast burritos.
- Most of these places are open 24 hours
- It's not all that expensive
NEUTRAL:
- The beans and rice are okay, but not stellar
- Their tacos and beef burritos use shredded beef instead of ground beef
CONS:
- The customer service is pretty horrible
- The speaker at the drive through is basically crap
- Since the speaker at the drive through is basically crap, you stand a pretty good chance of getting the wrong stuff
For example, I went there a couple of days ago to get breakfast burritos. Here's the conversation at the drive thru:
Me: "I'd like a breakfast burrito and add beans and extra cheese. I need another breakfast burrito with no meat, but add beans and extra cheese."
Speaker: "Thzz ... brakstffzh zurtizzz, right?"
Me: "Let me repeat it. I need a breakfast burrito with..."
Speaker (interrupting): "Ozzky" [click off]
Here's what I got:
- Breakfast burrito with no cheese
- Breakfast burrito with no meat
- Regular breakfast burrito
If it's super late or super early, you're hungry and want some cheap Mexican food, it's not a bad choice. -

Late night at work and a friend had previously recommended this place. I immediately Yelped it when he said their tamales were amazing and saddened when I saw the 3.5 stars. "But, it's way better than Taco Bell, they have great tamales, and fhey're open late" he defended. So I kept it in my mental Rolodex. Tonight was the night...great tamales? Let's give it a shot! They were not bad and the rice was actually pretty good. The beans were something I've never seen before, and I lived in Mexico for a year. I also eat a TON of Mexican food. I accidentally let some beans get on my rice and the flavor was not beans. Unfortunately, the lady at the counter was not friendly at all. I felt like a chore to her and all I said was "Hi I'll have a number 18 please".
I have another place to try up the road a block or two. -

I've been here twice since my last review and they forgot the fries in my California burrito both times. It's super frustrating and disappointing especially since the fries are what makes it a California burrito, so you're paying $7.50 just to get a carne asada burrito. They are seriously so stingy about the hot sauce, too! They give you two tiny cups that are maybe 1/3 full and roll their eyes if you ask for more. No customer service whatsoever. The speaker in the drive thru is messed up and it's incredibly hard to hear or understand the staff. The drive thru lane is also super narrow so I wouldn't recommend going through if you have a large truck or van. The guy behind me got stuck last time I was there.

This is honestly one of the best places we go to for greasy drunk/hangover food. The people working here are always so nice and cheerful, the food is super good and reasonably priced. Love their carne Assad's fries, breakfast burritos, and their rice. Open 24 hours and easily accessible. Can't count the times we've been here by now for some good grub, this is a staple in our lives at this point, couldn't recommend more.
